PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES:
NOTE: This business is highly seasonal and will on occasion severely alter these percentage splits of where the candidate will focus their time.
Inbound & Outbound Sales – 75%
- Handle inbound telephone, chat, email & walkin sales inquiries for the purpose of qualifying, presenting appropriate benefits and closing equipment and accessory sales.
- Outbound telephone follow-up to sales inquiries or requests for more information for the purpose of closing sales
- Achieve sales objectives by selling defined products & accessories to prospects whom have contacted us through multiple channels including; telephone, email, web chat, walk in, etc.
- Achieve sales objectives through a strategy of understanding prospect needs/circumstance and building a “trust” relationship that is premised on adding value through education (lead nurturing) until the prospect makes a purchase decision
- Enter all prospect activity into a CRM and schedule appropriate follow up actions
- Achieve specific quantifiable sales objectives.
- Complete all administrative responsibilities as required, including daily updating to contact management systems
- Continue professional educational development to include product knowledge, sales and organizational skills.
Customer Service – 25%
Act as back up to inbound & outbound Customer Service for existing customers as required.
You will be responding to incoming inquiries from valued customers, helping them with questions, complaints, billing inquiries, installation questions, order status etc. You will also leverage your inside sales experience to proactively identify needs for cross-sell & up-sell opportunities and gently attempt to close the sale.
- Ensure optimum servicing to our existing client base by promptly and accurately responding to customer inquiries on multiple product questions and issues.
- Handle incoming call inquiries with sensitivity.
- Responding to customer inquiries across all contact channels (telephone, email, walk in etc.) within the customer service quantifiable service metrics 100% of the time.
- Meet or exceed business standards for quality and productivity.
- Evaluate and analyzing information and recommend solutions to the Customer.
- Proactively identify cross-sell & up-sell and gently attempt to close
- Responding to email and written correspondence
- Research customer issues and assume accountability for ensuring a successful resolution
- Other administrative duties as required
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Successful candidates will have previous experience working in an inside sales environment servicing and proactively identifying and satisfying customer needs
- At least 2 years B-C outbound sales experience is a must
- Previous inbound customer service experience preferred
- Impeccable English with a friendly disposition
- Strong/obvious service disposition
- Advanced computer/keyboarding skills.
- Ability to respond to adverse situations, e.g., irate customers, high call traffic.
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point);
- Excellent written communication skills;
- Comfortable with the Internet;
- Familiarity with contact management systems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task.
